I tried to do alot of knew things with this one before I posted it. At first I tried to color it using paint program called Coral (just to find I have no skill in that area, AT ALL). Then I tried to scetch it using some graph. pencils and it came out looking realy good. Only problem was it didn't scan very well at all. So the majority of the detail that I added through shading and whatnot was pretty much lost in the transfer . Oh well hope yall like it anyway.

MnW with pencils u have to just darken everything. so next time if you want the shading to come in just darken it, even though u may think it would be too much still try it, that usually does it for me when i scan my works. and yes i do like the drawing. well hopefully darkening your work will make it come out more, then we can see the details that we weren't able to see this time.

I apreciate the pionter BPR. I was worried about making thinsg to dark when I was shading. I was worried that with it being too dark the details would blend together and you wouldnt be able to see them. Well I was right about not being able to see them but not because I made it to dark. With the next one I'll know better .

I like it though it appears more abstract than the usually works. Scanning images can get complicated. You'd think it would be easy but you must balance and tune your scanner, monitor, and printer to get results that look the same on every medium.
And it is a pain in the butt to do.
Try BPR suggestion it may help.

I find that rather than using a scanner, a digital camera does the trick for me. You do get more color on your art, (white paper tends to become more yellow like a toned paper and the tone is almost never even) but the detail is far truer than anything I've ever managed to scan. I'll have to post one here sometime. I usually only enter work into the computer to do some coloring or other such editing.
