Those who have read the story, hope you're enjoying the story thus far. Believe me, there's plenty more on the way. This is my latest and greatest piece of work to date, and I'm very proud of this. But first, a bit of background: The series started as an idea between a friend and myself as a few characters in an alternate dimention, parrallel to ours. The world is different in the fact that things that people have in fantisy worlds are real here: Magic, Psionics, Mystical creatures, ect. But the settings is a fantisy/sci-fi, because it's futuristic. The two main characters ended up from our dimention to that one, and they end up helping the nations rid the known universe of it's tyrants. They banded a crew together, and called themselves the Vigilantes. This fic takes place many years in the future from that time, and these Vigilantes are the sons and daughters of the original crew. Which brings us to the stars of the show. Kayain, Cherry, Danyel, and Diana. All of them are my in-game toons. The story itself is about them in persuit of the Rikti. The Rikti attacked Cherry and Danyel's homeworld, much in the same way they did with the CoX world. They chased the Rikti all the way here to Paragon City, to find out that this world had been attacked as well. Now it's really personal. As far as rating and content... Well it's a bit mature in some points, but nothing extreme... I should say, Nothing you probably wouldn't have seen anyway in CoX. Rated PG-13 at the least, with some bad words. Overall the story is plenty of subtle humor, with of course action, and perhaps romance? In this fic, you will get a look in how they really are, and an insight on future novels. Yes, that's right. I someday plan to novelise these characters because of my zest for writing. This is one of those times that me and my friend say," Man, we ought to be writing this down." And so, since he moved away... I decided to write it finally. I really want to turn this into more then just a hobby, so this is what I do on my free time. Write. Other then CoX that is. I would like people's opinion on how I did, storyline-wise, and entertainment-wise. Chapter 1 was me just barely getting back into the swing of writing. I took a long break from it, and started writing again so I wouldn't get rusty. I plan on revising those sometime, but for now, enjoy! _________________ @xury
