Posted: Fri Jul 20, 2007 9:00 am    Post subject: I have a life again.   Well, I just got done with the next level of NCO of the year competitions. I made it up the Major Command level which is the last one before you go compete in front of the Sergeant Major of the Army and Secretary of the Army and all those type people. I lost to an infantry guy in the Old Guard but its all good. At least i didn't lose to some geek like me Instead of spending 18 hours out of the day prepping and studying i might be able to play my favorite video game and even write some. Um, well, maybe too much of one which is why I haven't been posting here a lot lately. This summer K and I decided that we needed to get away from the computers and tv much more, to get outside and do things. So we've been biking, roller blading a little, and working out a LOT. It's good to get up and move around. For the last couple of years I've grown at the waist, and my butt has been too anchored to this chair. I'm working hard on the Vigilante novel, now in partnership with Ock, and officially being titled Revelations. We spent a lot of time brainstorming the world for the characters, and now the story is moving slowly along. It's a year long process, but the ideas are there, so they will flow out. I've also gotten a little time to smack down a few Ritki invasions with Nova 1, who is now lvl 47! Woot! Love the AoE attacks during the invasions. D

ANd now that Voltech is finally 50 i have no leash when it comes to altism. yet strangly i feel the urge to be in public. I try to avoid that species when they are in large gatherings, say thirty or more. It is a difficult task since they often lie in wait for me at the Mall, movie theaters, concert type events, resturants etc. I try to aleviate this by going to movies weeks after they first come out and sneaking into the mall at 9:45 AM when only the elderly of the species is patroling the area. Still, I often get caught up in the masses. P.S. Them and the ones that haven't figured out they are over sixty. Met my Grandmother on my Step-Moms side while i was on leave. For everyone else~ I still don't have a life. My story is on the wrong computer (half a country away), and I couldn't find time to work on it even if I had it here.
