City of Heroes has now created an online fanzine to showcase fan fiction and art. Esentially, this is a continuation of the fan sections of the City of Heroes Comic Books, but here, they're the main attraction instead of a sideshow.

Here's the official announcement.

So, what do guys think of this? I might try to submit something to this. But first I gotta finish my current story here, which would've been done a long time ago if not for Real Life getting in the way all the time. In this case, searching for a job.

Yes, i've heard about this. Yours truly here has been trying to work with the City Scoop to get a fan fic type section going too. Hopefully that will work out too!

How's that City Scoop planning going Trop?

That could be pretty neat to rotate older stories back into a spotlight of some sort on a weekly basis.

May help generate new traffic here too.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around what they want. It seems they want stories to appear on a CoH forum.

My problem is i'm not really getting any direction from them. We shall see!

I have a story I plan to submit to it pretty much formed in my head, featuring Spectreblade, my Ninja/Poison Mastermind Orochi Dragon, and my newest character, Matagama III. The premise will be this;

Spectreblade's medieval weapon collection is going on a tour of the Far East. The first stop is Hiroshima, Japan. There, Spectreblade meets Matagama III, a third-generation hero with a very large following, whose radiation powers have been passed down to him from his grandfather, who got them as a result of the atomic bomb. He comes to Spectreblade to warn him that Orochi Dragon is going to attempt to steal the collection. Will they be able to stop him? And to what lengths will Matagama's fans go in pursuit of him?

So, think it'll work?

Sure.

Perhaps its a fan that is stealing the collection so he can be beaten up by his hero!
