it's even worse than excessive "as" use.

Ahh It has been so long since you have mentioned that. I feel whole again Cool .

I am sorry guys, I really am. You guys are awsome writers and no, as long as you write CoH fan-fiction you will most likely never get recognised for it. Whatever you do, do not stop writing CoH fan-fics though. Then I would be loanly Crying or Very sad

I can't even find the book anywhere. My local bookstore doesn't seem to have it.

Even though I think we've moved off the topic of books we like, I just finished reading "The Messiah of Morris Avenue." It's about the second coming of Jesus but it is not a "convert-em-all" type affair. It's really quite good and shows most likely how a modern Jesus would be accepted today.

DUH!

I can't believe I didn't even mention this!

TGAE suggested The Temple Dogs by Warren Murphy and Molly Cochran. This book is WAY out of print, but can be found on amazon. It is, by far, one of my 3 favorite books of all time.

I point this out, because it is the book on Katsuhito's shelf that Aaron picks up and reads, finding the name Onami as the name of the yakuza family it centers around.

While this is supposedly a "crime" family, they live by the old ways of japan, very much of the (hollywood) samurai legacy. It should be required reading for every Onami Strike Force member Wink

If you get the chance read it. It's a hell of a fun ride. In my heart, I believe everyone who reads/writes the stories here would enjoy it (even though it was written in the 80's before some of you were born!)

D

Ooo, a double negative, tsk, tsk tsk.

One point deducted. One more and you get to buy Fixit's X-Ray specs for him.

SWEET! X-ray specs, here I come.

And though I may not be a member of Onami, it still sounds like a good book.

of course this means Ockham currently has the lowest number of Ockham points (maybe I shouldn't have pointed that out.) Confused
