Well, truth be told I was lucky enough to make Closed Beta. Sister Hecate has more pull then I thought and was worth the 100 Grand.
I took a few screenshots:
Who really caused the downfall of the Fifth?
Invading Siren's Call
Sui-ren, before the blades scaled I believe.
Opening Assassin's Strike
Assassin's Strike
Miscellaneous Strikes
A policeman's last mistake. Note it appears he is grabbing her by the arm. A intersting graphic clip that proves to be his last mistake.
Muwhahaha!
Issue 11 has got some really neat stuff. Defiance almost was changed. Dual Blades seem to rock. (Except for maybe Stalker's) and Willpower seems interesting.
Can't wait for it to go live.

Some impressions from the last few weeks
Issue 11
Dual Blades
The Good: It’s a very fast set. Claws fast. The animations are great too, and there is much less of a pause between powers. Damage is decent overall.
The Bad: Good damage if not for the fact that it’s all Lethal. While it shares the speed of Claws, it does not share the endurance costs. It’s possible to run out of end very fast with this set. Just about every power is important to the set because of the combination effects.
The Ugly: Stalkers need not bother for the most part. Unless things change, the final move in one of the combinations is Placate. The Empower combination sucks in ways that can’t really be described. Basically, if you pull of this combination you get a training origin worth of acc and damage for 10 seconds. Only someone that obsesses about the numbers would be likely to even notice.
Willpower
The Good: Regen Tanks! In other words, if the end drain from Axe was always stopping you, your time has come. Rise to the Challenge is a regen buff that gets better the more mobs around you. 125% for one mob and 350% for the cap of 10. Then figure in 140% from fast healing and another 75% from Health, and you have the same base values as a regen scrapper. Now layer on the resists, and the Passive max Health buff, and you can run whole missions without even turning on the resistance toggles. The tier 9 power is a resist to everything that is not as good as Unstoppable, but also has only a 25 end loss at the end of the three minute activation. Odds are good that you won’t even know when the power drops in the middle of a fight.
The sounds are great as well. There aren’t any. When RttC is first activated, there is a slight heartbeat that fades out right away. It comes back while you fight but you can’t hear it over the battle sounds. As the last mob falls, the heartbeat lingers for a few seconds more. Awesome. Visually, there is a mustard yellow pulse, similar to the green star from Regen, only smaller and less obvious. Every so often, a little yellow shimmer will play across the body.
The Bad: Some people have reported getting motion sickness from the pulse effect, and it doesn’t mix well with the Rage effect from Super Strength. In play, the set is a minion killing juggernaut. Against 1 AV/EB, you will suffer. Taking Stamina is NOT a waste. Health is a huge plus to this set anyway, and even though everyone but Stalkers gets Quick recovery at level 12/20 (Tanks/ Brute-Scrappers), There are 3-5 toggles that need to be running, as opposed to Regen’s one. Also a sticking point (pun intended) is the lack if Immobilize protection. This means that most people will be taking Combat Jumping to plug the hole. Ironically, the best two choices to skip for a tight build are the Heightened Senses and Resurgence, The elemental/energy defense and the self res. Everything else is pretty much mandatory for survival. This makes for a very tight build.
The Ugly: Stalkers don’t get Rise to the Challenge, so they get Reconstruction instead. This means that they will need to get, and run, Mind over Body (S/L resists) all the time. They also do not get Quick Recovery, forcing Stamina to be taken.
Note: Heightened Pain Tolerance is best slotted with Heals first (3) and then Resistances.
Ouoroboros Zone
The Good: It’s small, and really looks good. The contacts are all close by, and to run the arcs in the zone you simply click on the pillar beside the contact. You don’t even need to move. There is also something deeper going on there it seems.
Once you complete the tutorial, which gives you a crack at the badges from the original tutorials again, you can go back and redo any arcs you have outleveled. That is, a level 28 character can redo any arc from level 25 or lower. You can also set special mission parameters, like “Enhancements do Nothing”, or Team under constant Debuff. Badges will be awarded for some of these settings.
The Bad: In order to get to the zone, you need to have completed at least one mission that had a time travel component to it. This will award you the portal, which can be summoned once every 5 minutes. Getting any badge in Recluse’s Victory will flag you for entry, as will the Ubelmann Arc, The Dr. Aeon arc, and a few others. You can also enter a portal summoned by someone else. Once in the zone, you can get the exploration badge located on the top of the big, golden arm-thing.
Most of the missions are level limited. This means that most people will not get any XP for running them. This may make finding teams harder than normal once the badge hunters finish up. It would be a shame to have such an aweome zone turn into the Shard Light.
The Ugly: All missions and arcs are done as a Task Force. This means that once you start, you can’t invite anyone else, nor can a mission be dropped. Unlike a Task Force, there is no special pool of drops for finishing it. There is an NPC there that will sell inspirations to those on a task force though. Some of the NPCs you meet on the tutorial will have their own arcs. One of these will have a warning that the arc is extremely difficult and that you should have some friends along. LISTEN TO HIM. Solo with a Darm Melee/Regen Scrapper with the Wedding Band and 15 inspirations, I was not able to beat the second mission on Heroic. Bring friends or Shivans. Most of the people on the Beta Boards have complained about this mission being too hard. That’s how we got the “bring friends” note. If you can solo the Faultline arc on Heroic without ever falling to the EB’s, but think they put up a good fight… Bring Friends. If you can solo the AV version of any mob, then go for it, but seriously… Bring Friends.
New IO sets
The Good: Expanded sets for things like AoE damage. Many types got new sets added in. There are also new sets for types like Taunt, and to Hit Debuffs.
The Bad: More options to drop mean less frequent drops for the one you want, and there is a good chance that many sets that are already in place will need to be replaced with the newer ones.
The Ugly: None really
Ultra Rares
The Good: Higher than level 50 IO bonuses, and the set bonuses remain in effect when exemplared.
The Bad: They only drop from level 50 mobs, and they can only be used by level 50 characters. A 49 can’t even place them.
The Ugly: They take an insane amount of salvage to craft. Multiple rare salvage. All are Unique, so even if you manage to get two of the same thing, you can only use one.
Weapon Customization
The Good: It’s here. Axe, Mace, Broadsword, Katana/Ninja Blade, Claws, Dual Blade, Assault Rifle, Thugs, Archery, Trick Arrow and Robots can all customize their hand held weapons. Most have a few different types of weapons, and most of those can be colored with a primary and secondary shade. They also scale to size.
The Bad: Some of the weapons are unlocked by getting the Defeat X badges. Some of these are tied to mob types that exist only in the 40+ game, long after the theme of the character has been established. Be on the lookout for costume farms, where that level 2 is hanging out in the mission to get his Red Cap daggers.
The Ugly: Some sets will just be too hard to colorize. The sets we have now will probably be it, unless a new set is introduced.
Note: If you can't see some of the color changes (Assault Rifles/Axe), you need to look in your settings and turn the sliding shader up from LOW. This is a bug, and a known issue.
Supergroup Limits have been raised to 150 characters.
There are craftable Respec Recipes.
Cathedral of Pain is officially on the "IF" list. It may never come.

Imagine my surprise when I took RIP against Miss Liberty. I think it was the Rogue Isle arc. First mission I tried when I first logged into the Test Server.
"Oh, look Miss Liberty!"
"Oh, look she is an AV conning yellow."
He looks around to make sure he did not have any teammates with him. Yep he was still solo. No Shivans either.
What the hell, RIP waded in and with Inspirations and Burn did pretty well. Then Ms. liberty shows up. Luckily she held back while he whooped on her. Never went back to try again so I don't know what if anythig changed.
It was fun though.
