Review

So that really wasn't what I was expecting.
Not that that was a bad thing.

I like the way it was written, and it's an idea that a friend and I discussed a long time ago. He said there was actually a story, or possibly a novel based on the idea. The end result was very similar, but in the other tale, it was a group of empathic people involved and it involved clinical research in to all sorts of things.

I think the way you described and handled the situation was very well done.

Yes, this nicely written and definately a different side that Volt's ever exposed.

I don't think Volt has gotten in touch with his sensitive side and the "real" conflict is yet to arise between these two.

I didn't expect this to get posted until next week. I just popped in and suprise, there it was. So, on that note, I wrote this quite some time ago. I was going to post it last spring, but T.W. wanted me to hold off as he was writing some additional stories as well. Since they never appeared, I decided to go ahead and post it. The males that read this prior to the posting all had the same response of 'you need more detail-not hard-core enough'. I think they kinda missed the whole point. But you all seemed to have gotten it. I have to admit that writing this was a first for me, and that caused part of the hesitation. I've read my fair share of smut, but writing it is another story. (Pardon the pun.) Anyway, glad you all liked it.

I think you hit the right amount detail. The idea was the emotions about the characters and not about the physical act two characters were about to engage in.

I too had hesitations with my Chapter 2, of Not the Villain. I think you pulled it off with much class. :)

I've written a bit of smut; mostly by request, with the readers all being female. Because of that, I tend to write that type of story in a fairly feminine style. I he opposite of "needs more detail" on this one. This wasn't a story about the the physical acts taking place. It was about the risks she took in making the request and he took in agreeing.

As far as the pure smut aspect goes, detail is not required for something to be erotic. I actually thought a few bits could have been toned down a little, but the distraction they causes was pretty minor all in all.

With a name like Combustion I should have seen this coming... but no, I walked right into it and found myself thinking, "Not Volt! I've known him since he was just a punk kid trying to make his bones with the Skulls." Seriously it was like reading something written about your cousin. I almost fealt guilty.

Anywho, well written. Knowing what comes next I'm hoping he gets off his lazy butt and gets back to writing.
